Countries must push for a shift towards climate change policies and enhance investments in clean technology to ease the transition process.

Given this particular issue, it is important for countries to assess their development path, considering Climate Change as an influential factor on the effectiveness of their investments, programmes and projects.

The impacts of global warming are reflected in various aspects worldwide: agriculture, water resources, human health and biodiversity, among others, have been affected by the increase in the average temperature of the Earth’s surface over the last 150 years. 

Different climate finance instruments exist, many of which encourage private sector investment and make climate finance more accessible and flexible.
